Why RDJ as Dr.Doom ???

 

Ever Since the big reveal at San diego ComicCon yesterday. There are mixed reactions from People saying Marvel badly wants to get back into the game and so they brought russo and RDJ back into MCU. Let’s put those all aside for a while and let me tell why don’t want RDJ back .

 

Robert is a brilliant which his recent Oscar also tell us, but people are not ready to think their Ironman is now the biggest villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s no doubt that he is a very good choice for an iconic anti-hero in the history of marvel comics I don’t think people are ready to accept this forget about him portraying as Doom, in the future if ever marvel wants to Reboot Ironman it’s a herculean task for the actors to convince as Tony stark . He is such irreplaceable in the fanbase. It will be weird for fans and also a challenge for RDJ to make audience believe he’s Dr.Doom and not their Ironman which he himself told that he likes playing complex characters.  Dr.Doom is such iconic Characters who isn’t outrightly an evil villain rather acts what suits for that specific occasion. His ego is said to be Doom’s biggest nemesis.

People with no idea about Doom might be wondering what’s so special about him. His origin is quite unusual for a villain, Victor was born a romani in the country of Latveria whose villain origin story revolves around his ethnicity, racism he faced and the troubles  he had while growing up. It all makes up the character of Doom in his further years. This is where I differ with Marvel, Romani are ethnic minority in Europe with origins in the northwestern part of Greater India who had faced systematic oppression due to their skin colour,culture and religion. Marvel says that they’re providing platform to ethnic minorities a platform like they for Namor, echo. It would have a great push for the Romani people if they had casted an ethnic roma instead of whitewashing which they already did with wanda maximoff. This is not a rant or a complaint but rather a thought when Companies like Marvel bringing an actor of Roma heritage would be a great support for them and would also be an apt choice for the character of Dr.Doom.

There is a speculation going on that victor once assumed the character of Tony stark called “The infamous Ironman” in the comics. This also looks like a good plotline if this is how they want to build conflict with Tony stark , only this seems like a plausible explanation which doesn’t upset anybody. Whatever we’re not sure unless the film comes
